If I'm FSU, I show up at the next NCAA championship they're a part of wearing jet black, with no names or symbols at all. Not the school name, not the player's names. Nothing. White numbers if numbers are required, but that's it.

Does the NCAA get any money from sale of Seminole merchandise or does 100% of license fees go to the school? If NCAA takes $.01 of revenue what does that say about the priorities.

I'm reasonably certain that individual school merchandise monies are kept by the school.

I think Jerry is right. This is partially because most major universities tie in their sports memorbilia lines with their bookstores, meaning all the $ goes to whomever controls that.
