Sox Win!
They tried to blow it for a while, but a big weekend against the Twins and a poorly-timed collapse by Cleveland leave the Sox as the AL Central champs. Now they can rest up and wait to see who they'll take on in the playoffs.

Yep. The White Sox clinched a tie for the AL Central with 96 wins. Neither the Yanks nor the Red Sox can be a wildcard team with 96 wins so that leaves Cleveland all alone with the possibility of winning 96 as a wildcard. The White Sox win the tiebreaker b/c of their 11-5 edge head-to-head.
Tiebreaking scenarios (VERY possible) -
NYY and Bos tie - Monday at Yankee Stadium
Should NYY, BOS, and CLE all tie - it's the above to determine the AL East winner. The loser of that game will play Cleveland (if BOS, then it's at Fenway, if NYY, ??)
White Sox - first division title since 2000, have not won a home playoff game since 1959.
